We are an independent florist in Hertford creating beautiful flowers for weddings, events, farewells and everyday moments.

Founded by florist Wendy, whose floristry journey began at just 13 years old, Flowered Up brings together years of experience, creativity, a love of natural and seasonal flowers. Inspired by nature and designed with movement and texture, our flowers are romantic, bold and a little bit wild.

Meet Wendy

Hi, I’m Wendy, founder of Flowered Up.

I’ve been around flowers since I was 13, when I started working in a florist in Cheshunt called Lammas Nurseries - surrounded by buckets of carnations, busy mornings and the real graft of a proper flower shop.

I took a bit of a detour into hospitality, but flowers always had a way of pulling me back in. I went on to freelance for some brilliant London florists, including McQueens Flowers and Rebel Rebel in Hackney, and those years shaped so much of how I work now - natural, creative, relaxed, and never too perfect.

Flowered Up is based in Hertford and is all about flowers with feeling. Weddings, funerals, gifts, events, workshops and everyday bunches - whatever the occasion, I want the flowers to feel personal, thoughtful, a little bit wild, and never stiff or soulless.
